Late May, 2023, we received a sad but heart warming message from Laura on our FB Page.
Laura's daughter, Matilda, 9 years old, along with 10 of her friends from Edenfield Primary School were running the Pretty Muddy Kids 5km Obstacle Course & Race, for Cancer Research UK in Manchester, after sadly losing her Grandfather, Reverand Les of Edenfield Parish Church, and lifelong Edenfield and Rossendale villager, earlier in the year to Leukeamia.
Matilda was looking for a local business to sponsor the team, by purchasing the teams t-shirts with their team name, 'Team Rev Les' on ready for race day. Without question, we said yes.
With monetary donations from Scentish and from myself personally, along with all their friends and family, Matilda and her friends managed to raise a huge £1,866. 
Congratulations Matilda and Team Rev Les, you guys did amazing, us here at Scentish and your family and friends are very proud of you all.
